In a multiple geo-located company with lots of different products and customers, the main challenge was constructing a modular design system featuring adaptable components that consistently aligned with HV's principles and brand guidelines.
Our objective was not only to develop UI libraries but also to set best practices and UX guidelines.
This was reinforced by reviewing other designers' work to ensure conformity with the design system norms.
Some of the tasks I had to do as a Product Designer working on Hitachi Vantara:
- Low and High-fidelity prototyping
- Design a new Component (Advanced Dropdown)
- Create a new icon (Multi-devices)
- Review other designers' projects using the NEXT Design System
- Documentation / Guideline creation
